I was over at the grocery store the other day and my guides had the Pink Floyd song called “Shine On You Crazy Diamond” playing in my head (sometimes they have good taste in music). They kept the chorus repeating over and over again until I said to them “Okay, I get it, I’ll shine bright”.
I went about getting my groceries and just as I was getting close to reaching for some grapes, a lovely elderly lady stopped her grocery cart right in front of me and said, “Do you know where the cherries are? They’re supposed to be on sale today and I can’t find them.” I looked around and found them for her and chose a medium sized bag-full and placed them into her cart. She thanked me and then went on to tell me all about her low-lights and challenges in her journey.
Her husband had transitioned recently and she missed him terribly. She said she wouldn’t have missed him so much except they always got along so well. She also told me that her only child and best friends had also transitioned. Everyone seemed to be leaving her behind is what she told me. Along with her health history she told me her real name was Alexandra but that everyone called her Alice, just like Queen Victoria’s daughter and that her name used to be very popular when she was a young girl.
As she spoke I kept seeing little sparkles happening all around her, but I didn’t want to tell her about that, so I just listened to what she wanted to tell me. The details of her life came pouring out of her like a river over-flowing its banks, and when she was finished I asked her if I could hug her. Her entire Beingness lit up and she answered with a resounding, “Yes, I would love that!”
I hugged her fragile little body and placed my heart right up against hers and sent her a flowing pulse of loving energies and I felt her heart sigh with relief. She just stayed in my arms for a while, soaking in the feeling of being embraced, a feeling that I’m sure she hadn’t experienced for what must have felt like an eternity. After all, all humans require human touch, a smile, a gentle act of kindness and compassion; it’s the power that keeps us alive, thriving and connected.
When she finally stepped back for a moment and looked at me she said, “What do you do for a living?” I told her “I help people find their truth”, and she then said, “You must be a psychic or something like that.” I just smiled and told her that probably her husband and daughter and friends wanted her to be as happy as possible because they were going to be waiting for her with open arms when she makes her transition. Her entire demeanour shifted and she stood taller and said, “You’re right! I never thought of that before! I am happy now and I will stay happy every day until I leave this planet!”
She then went over to her grocery cart and went on with her shopping. I am always so humbled when these experiences happen. Of course, when I got into my car after loading the groceries into the trunk and turned on the radio, the Pink Floyd song was just finishing …
Keep on shining!
