The Freedom In Letting Go

So many people ask, “How do I let go?”  The thought of just letting go and releasing the job or the mob, the accounts and the discounts, the house or the spouse, the success to impress or the family and calamity, often times seem simply impossible.  There just seems to be such copious confusion of not knowing what to do or how to do it.

This is natural, and especially now as we are all becoming responsible for cleaning up our space and our vibrational frequency.  As we continue our journey, we are being asked to take personal response-ability for our choices and our decisions.  And, the biggest challenge is often times owning up for the choices and decisions that appear to be falling apart (there are no bad choices, just life experiences that we are learning from).

Whenever we are faced with a daunting task, it is often times easier to simply focus on the outcome by pausing and consciously choosing a better feeling thought, even if that thought at first feels outlandish, it is still in a progressive direction of lifting you up and out of the mindset that you’re currently in.

I recently met with a client who thought she was ready to leave her current relationship but she was still experiencing anger and resentment towards her partner.  In hanging on to the hurt and anger that she felt, she was unable to manifest her next step in her journey.  We discussed the spiritual lessons that were the main theme in their relationship (evolution, awareness, growth, peacefulness, grace, acceptance, diplomacy, kindness, forgiveness and love).

She came to realize that if she left her space (relationship) in anger, then she would only attract the same pattern (and partner attributes) again until she learned her spiritual lessons.  As she began to connect the dots in her experience, she quickly manifested multiple options that were previously unavailable to her by focusing on her desired outcome and the feelings that were attached to this.  She continued to focus on seeing herself as living peacefully, abundantly, joyfully, in her own space with things that were precious to her and most of all, doing the work she loved and surrounded by people she admired and appreciated.

It isn’t unusual for some of us to hang on until we absolutely have no choice but to let go.  We will reach a point of total exasperation to just give up and say “enough is enough.”  Accepting our role in any situation will help us to move forward in a valuable way.  It is in our best interest that as we let go, that we do it with gratitude for the lesson of expansion into love (loving understanding).

This month is going to be an interesting month filled with transitions and shifts on multiple levels.  Spring is now on our doorsteps and big changes are on our horizons.  The snow and ice have melted and the sun is shining brighter and warmer.  Not only are things getting ready to unfold and blossom on an individual scale, but they are also getting ready to unfold and blossom on a global scale … letting go of what no longer serves us.

Learning to recognize the greatness not only in others, but also in ourselves will be a powerful awakening as we create the dynamics to open our compassionate hearts.  Many fellow earth travellers will be in need of your encouragement, healing and understanding during this stage of growth and awakening.  If your personal space and energy field (vibrational frequency) is cluttered and unclear, you will not be available to yourself, let alone to be of service to others.

Remember, we cannot expect others to change, they are simply our mirrors – change yourself and the rest spontaneously comes.  As we release the past and move into the future, we must open our hearts in acceptance of what has been, with new levels of unconditional love for our self, others, and the situations that we move forward from.

Choose to be the master of your choices in transforming your power as you experience shifting and transitioning.  Always release your existing thoughts and space with gratitude, forgiveness of self and others with grace and ease.  In doing so, you will progress in your journey with your energy field healed, intact and revitalized.  Use these opportunities of letting go as inner work and bringing resolution to your heart’s wishes.

Ask yourself “How much would I be willing to let go in order to receive peace and an unshakable love my heart?”  New beginnings require endings and all endings herald in new beginnings.  Manifest your desires by shining your soul-light exclusively on what you want by choosing the best feeling thought possible.

Keep on shining!

Wow…thank you for this. It was like you were talking directly to me. I have amazing things going on in my life plus an opportunity for big changes in the next 6 months. I have been so worried about letting go of what I am currently doing because it too makes me happy and it took a lot of time to get there. I felt it took so much work and dedication that I could not let it go, but perhaps now I can view it as an amazing learning experience, and it’s okay to move into a new chapter and let go. I guess I always thought of “letting go” being the negative stuff, but never the good. Thanks for a new perspective.
