The Impermanence of Life

Sometimes I want one of those singing-dancing flash mobs to show up in my life and start belting out some good tunes to distract me from whatever I’m distracted from. Maybe a combo-version of the Bee Gees singing Staying Alive and To Love Somebody, and then an excellent rendition of What’s Up by 4 Non-Blondes.

It’s a natural to be dreaming the dream of living your life, unaware of the impermanence of it, until it happens.

Recently, the impermanence of life has come to visit; it’s an unwanted visitor, yet it appears when we most likely are not expecting it. Like an unwelcomed door-to-door salesperson that may show up, and if you’re like me, you do your best to close the door quickly.

This blog post is dedicated to those who have also been visited by the impermanence of life …

What I quickly discovered during this most recent experience was that it was best for me to stay focused on the presence of the state of Grace, and to be able to see beyond the surreal. Even when I couldn’t feel Grace, let alone see it, I imagined that I could.

Looking for Grace in every moment helped to ease the intensity of the experience. Sending thoughts of gratitude to everyone around me, for their physical and energetic presence was helpful. And, allowing their despair to flow through and out of me was a profound and humbling experience to be of service.

In seeing beyond the surreal, I was able to recognize that being present in the moment assisted in remembering all that was and is essential, and, how heart-memories will surface whenever needed the most.

For all you Empaths reading this, that will also at some point transcend through these experiences, know that you will not only feel your pain, but also the suffering of others, so self-care and rest is a priority. Remember to look at your gift of Empathy as a privilege to know what you know, and how you must almost hide that side of yourself while in the presence of others who are not quite where you’re at.

Releasing the emotional energies of others is imperative during times like this; otherwise, you will be left feeling consumed and empty. More than a few times I felt tremors and ripples of energies flow through me and out of me, and this was the energy being transmuted from sadness to freedom.

I learned an up close and personal experience about feeling the emotions of it all, thanking it and then releasing it. Those emotional energies needed to return to their origins and were not mine to embody.

I know it’s easier said than done but when you fill any discomforting feelings of emptiness with feelings of gratitude, soon the discomfort dissipates, and ease and Grace quickly flood in. This experience is challenging and not for the faint of heart, but when you are called up to be “in it,” you will quickly learn to embrace your inner state of balance.

The current version of life here in the earth-realm-frequency is forever shifted once again, and it is a gentle yet powerful reminder to hold those you Love closely in your heart.

Find the presence of Grace in all situations, whenever and however you can.

Love unconditionally, and with passion ~ may your heart center forever guide you, and, may you ask yourself every day “What would Love do,” and “How can I serve.”

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma, which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” ~ Steve Jobs

“Silence is essential. We need silence just as much as we need air, just as much as plants need light. If our minds are crowded with words and thoughts, there is no space for us.” ~ Thich Nhat Hanh

“Try not to resist the changes that come your way. Instead, let life live through you. And do not worry that your life is turning upside down. How do you know that the side you are used to is better than the one to come?” ~ Rumi
