Sending and Receiving …

Not too long ago I decided it was time to improve my methods of communicating.  I went over to the phone store and sure enough, the nice man behind the counter assured me that I was ready to receive a free upgrade, and with a few dozen signatures onto a contract that only wanted everything short of a DNA sample, I got it.  I was a proud owner of one of those texting, please find me I’m lost, e-mailing, photographer of the year in the making, internet surfing, talk wild and crazy to me phones!

As soon as I got home, I decided to try out my newly discovered upgraded communication skills with my son who is away at university.  It went somewhat like this:

Woooo hooo
In one month today you’ll be homo

My Son:

Soon I’ll be Getting better at ex ting just need practic e

My Son:
Oh God, you got one of those phones didn’t you

Then our conversation got posted to Facebook with many “likes” and an assortment of comments:

  • “In just one month eh?”
  • “Ha-ha mothers worldwide”
  • “Finally, that awkward tension at the dinner table will be gone.  Feel free to pass the potatoes without any hidden agenda.”

I think I’m getting better with this, but apparently not, according to my other son who said “Mom, you so don’t know what you’re doing.”  It turned out I was taking pictures of myself, and not what I thought I was aiming at.

The greatest words of wisdom came from my oldest son who said, “Mom, you should really stick with your invisible friends.”  This comment came right after me messaging him that I would be there in five minutes, which texted into “I’m about give monsoon.”

Then of course, my husband wants to know if I’ve hooked up the phone to my car … seriously? … at this rate I could end up talking and texting to the international space station in secret code!

When we’re learning to communicate in a new or different way, we need to be easy about it, have fun with it, and most of all, not take ourselves too seriously.  This also applies when learning to receive answers to our questions when communicating with Source energy.  Allow the messages to come through, have fun, and in-joy yourself.  Source energy is always lovingly available to communicate with you too!

We are now in the times of being much more aware, awakened, accessible and telepathically connected to Source energy and each other.  The messages are everywhere; we just need to be clear about what we are asking (sending) and open and available to receiving.

Leaving you with peace, love, understanding, awareness and wisdom (and of course, big hugs and butterfly kisses).
