Good Mother

The other morning I woke up with the memory of having visited with my grandmothers (they both re-emerged into pure positive energy quite a while ago).  In my dreamscape, I spent time with my Mamère and she was thriving, laughing, and surrounded by what seemed to be hundreds of people, but we still had a beautiful one-on-one visit.  Then I spent time with my Grandma, she was radiant, in her kitchen preparing a feast and chatting away with me.  When I left my dreamscape of visiting with them, they each kissed me on my cheek and lovingly showed me the words “Good Mother”.

The dream-feeling stayed with me all day and it wasn’t until my son came home from school that afternoon, that it all made sense to me.

He came in the door like he usually does, except he announced, “Well, something exciting finally happened today, I got punched!”  I hurried over to him to see if he was ok, and sure enough, he had a red patch on his cheek.  I right away kissed his cheek and asked him to tell me what happened.

It turned out that they were supposed to be working on a group project and one of the boys (I’ll call him Zach) didn’t want to participate.  Zach kept his head down, wouldn’t share his energy with the group and kept knocking my son’s water bottle to the ground.  My son repeatedly asked Zach to stop and told him that if he didn’t stop, he would pour water on him.  Well, the water ended up getting poured and this is when the co-creation of the soul lesson commenced: Zach’s energy interacting with my son’s energy generated a powerful response and Zach countered by punching my son.  Apparently after the punch was thrown, Zach picked up his binder and tried to hit my son with it, but my son said that he blocked it.  Then, he told me that Zach started to cry.

My heart was in my throat listening to his story, I felt such an overpowering sense of compassion for everyone involved.  I was so grateful that my son didn’t have the conditioning within him to retaliate with a punch, rather he knew to block and then step away.  I was also grateful that the teacher wasn’t “paying attention” so that there were no further implications.

Then my son said, “I felt for Zach, because I knew he wasn’t really like that normally and I hope that he can share with his mother what happened today.”  Tears were starting to prick my eyes; I was feeling such deep empathy for everyone.

My heart-love went out to Zach as he was releasing some powerful hurts, and my heart-love went out to my son, as he became a catalyst of non-violent response.

Healing is taking place on a global level as well as a personal one.  The saying “as within, so without” or “as above, so below” couldn’t be more prevalent.  We are now in the most amazing of times, and yes, we volunteered our loving selves to be here as part of the transformation of healing and releasing!  We all are good mothers, some of us symbolically and others physically, and we must teach each other and especially our children – to be mindfully aware and recognize the feelings of others.  Remember the light of love is revealing what needs to be healed.

Leaving you with peace, love, understanding, awareness and wisdom (and of course, big hugs and butterfly kisses).
