If ever you take the time to observe your thoughts, you would be really quite amazed at how much the mind “thinks” – it just goes on and on and on, from one topic to another. Those thoughts are like elements to a creation and you are either consciously manifesting something magnificent or you are not.
The other day I was at my yoga studio easing myself into meditation when a loud motorcycle pulled up out front with the music playing and it was clearly audible. In less than a breath I was on the motorcycle, it was a Harley I’m sure, and the driver was George Clooney. We went riding together and we were heading off to discover new horizons when in the next breath I remembered where I was!
If you are not aware of your thoughts or not paying attention, you will be shown relatively quickly; these are usually the stages where you stub your toes, slam your fingers in a drawer, drop things or even begin to manifest an illness or an accident. It’s as if you are bumping into your own energetic unawareness.
Become consciously aware of your thoughts, as energy follows those thoughts. If you keep thinking thoughts that are not what you want to manifest, that worry you or negatively pre-occupy you, then do not be surprised when exactly what you were dreading comes to be. This also applies to trying to control another’s choices or behaviour – they too are creating for themselves. You can only inspire through your actions; you can never control another. Give up on creating for someone else, it won’t work and you’ll only waste your energy.
Now, the inverse is true as well, if you think thoughts that are pleasant, that are uplifting, that bring you to a space and place that is harmonious to your soul, then you will be very pleased with what you have manifested. When you pay attention to your thoughts and regularly ensure their transformation to a state of peacefulness and joy, you will experience a flow of grace that is palpable; this flow is also called Love and compassion.
You see, your true soul purpose here on earth is one of Love, of joyfulness and to be of service to others. It is your birthright, your entitlement to give and receive this Love and joy. Little babies that have just been born do not bring anything but Love and joyfulness with them and they are immediately of service to others as they are happy to be here. Any negative traits that are attributed to babies and then soon to be young-humans, are an external conditioned response, a learned behaviour.
We are like alchemists, we have the power to be transmutable and shift our thoughts, we just need to re-member our power! We indisputably are Love, infinite awareness having an experience. Most of humanity has not yet awakened to be consciously aware; they are still experiencing the since-birth conditioning to think of themselves in only a five-sense modality.
Think of your thoughts as Love being just like water – water is soft yet powerful, nourishes the minutest of forms yet carves through solid rock, falls from the sky for everyone and everything, and unconditionally flows back to its source.
Be a transmutable alchemist in your thoughts, your actions, your words and your desires. You are an extension of Source for all that is, has been and ever will be. Yes, you are Love!
Now, back to that Harley ride with George …
Leaving you with peace, love, understanding, awareness and wisdom (and of course, big hugs and butterfly kisses).
“Contentment and happiness depend solely on the mind, not on external objects or circumstances.” – Amma (Mata Amritanandamayi Devi)
“The only thing that makes the difference in the way you feel right now is the thought that you are thinking right now. It doesn’t matter how much money you’ve got; there are joyful people with no money, and there are unhappy people with lots of money. How you feel is about how you are allowing the Source that is You to flow.” – Abraham
“First comes thought; then organization of that thought into ideas and plans; then transformation of those plans into reality. The beginning, as you will observe, is in your imagination” – Napoleon Hill
enjoyed your thoughts..I believe I was right there with you and George on the Harley!
So happy you in-joyed the ride!
One of my mantras is, “how can I be more loving, how can I be more kind, how can I have more fun and spread more joy?”. Thank you for reminding me 🙂
