Whispers of Gratitude

2013 is complete and what a journey it was!  The month of December was a magnificent completion to a year filled with lessons and profound understandings.  I felt a powerful shift take place and many life lessons were presented for me to review.  The review was something like looking over final exams once your teachers have assessed them.

Some of my lessons were acquired and integrated easier than others, and the ones that weren’t, well, let’s just say that they took some time to process.  A few reviews were filled with giggles and enthusiasm and then there were a few that were filled with tears.  Either way, the main themes that I was presented with were acceptance and letting go.  The last remnants of letting go were the most challenging and the intricacies of the challenge were recognizing the conditioning and beliefs of hanging on.

As a culture we have been taught that letting go means the end, but we were not taught about letting in which means new beginnings.  When we release old thoughts, beliefs and behaviours, there comes a powerful shifting energy.  This energy is exhilarating and helps us to shake out all of the old cobb-webby ways.

I was so grateful to be guided to relax and get into the flow of the stream of all that is, was and ever will be.  As spiritual beings in human forms, we need to remind ourselves that we are only visitors and our presence here is temporary.  We might as well be joyful and happy, as that is our true nature – we came from Love, we are Love and we will return to Love.

Now I totally understand why my guides had me dial back my energies; I needed to re-view, re-new, re-charge and re-member!  I feel that I have energetically gone through the eye of the needle and made it through to the other side.  I am deeply grateful for my life experiences; the wonderful and not so wonderful, as each and every moment has coalesced into this magnificent expression of Now.  I was shown that the past will lose its hold on our attention, that we will leave behind crisis consciousness and embrace our new beginnings and transformations while remembering that we are here to be of service to others and keeping our hearts open.  Oh so worth all the inner work that was fulfilled!!

This is exactly where we’re supposed to be in this journey.  Letting go of what no longer serves us and remembering during the process of letting go, that if we fight or push against the process, we will become that same vibrational frequency and attract more of it.  Accept the experience, embrace it and then release it.

As we journey along our path of acquiring wisdom, the awareness that is brought to us will bring us even closer to continually being aware of our thoughts and emotions.  We will continue to increase our awareness and awakening to encompass an even deeper level of compassion and understanding of others and ourselves.

So, we are in some really interesting times now, and such an incredible time to be alive and here on this planet.  This upcoming year is going to be filled with more and more people experiencing awakenings and awareness to possibilities and events that they never dreamed possible. I am so very excited about what is coming up for everyone!

Profound whispers of gratitude to each and every one of you – you continue to inspire me more than you will ever know.

Sending you big hugs filled with Love!

  1. inspiring and gives me hope because I feel I am in the eye of the needle right now struggling to squeeze through so I can make it to the other side.

  2. Especially loved this…”We might as well be joyful and happy, as that is our true nature – we came from Love, we are Love and we will return to Love.”

  3. Theresa, as always, I loved this blog. This last year has been busier than I expected, especially since I left the corporate world and thought I would have so much time on my hands. Funny, because I’m much busier now, but I am now doing what I love and it’s taking me in so many different directions. What a ride! I am doing things that I never dreamed possible a year ago. I am looking forward to what 2014 has in store for me. I do feel a shift in myself and it feels good. xo

  4. “We came from Love, we are Love and we will return to Love”.

Oh Theresa, beautiful, profound and a wonderful extension of your beautiful self. Keep sharing your insights and thoughts, they are the wind beneath my wings.

    Love you my friend.
